Breast Enlargement
Breast augmentation is one of the most popular procedures, it is suitable for clients wishing to enlarge a small breast, but not requiring an uplift. The scar is usually in the crease below the breast and is a very fine white line, that becomes virtually invisible over time.
Pre Surgery
You will be assessed as to whether you are a suitable candidate for breast surgery, both in terms of existing breast shape - very tiny breasts can only have a maximum size implant as the tissue will not allow a larger prosthesis - generally small breast pockets are rare and are usually in very small woman where a large prosthesis would be inappropriate. Mostly a cohesive gel implant is used and usually in front of the breast muscle - where there is virtually no fat on the breast bone it may be more aesthetically pleasing to go behind the breast muscle to avoid seeing the curve of the implant through the skin. Furthermore, women over the age of 30 will be offered a routine mammogram - this is a private procedure and costs around £50.

Surgery Time
Most patients have a very short surgery time of around 2 hours.
Post Surgery
Patients will be required to wear a sports bra for a month after surgery day and night. There will be dressing over the scar , which is to be kept on for two /three days, then patients can shower as normal. Mostly stitches are resorbable . It will be best to refrain from aerobic activity and lifting heavy objects and stretching upwards for a few weeks, but generally a very simple surgery with limited complications.
